Public awareness at Avenue Road

BOSCO Nilaya, conducted public awareness programme at Avenue Road, Bengaluru on February 8, 2021. General public, auto drivers and shop keepers were given awareness on child rights, child rights violation, CHILDLINE, remedial education centers, vocational skill training courses and about special remedial education provided to the high school students at BOSCO Nilaya. Warning was given to two child labuorers and their employers. Auto drivers and vendors took initiative to pass on the information to the public. Two youths showed interest in joining skill training programmes at BOSCO. Follow up is being done. Around 500 general public were given awareness.
