Public Awareness at Gandhinagar

BOSCO Bus Stand Team organized public awareness programme at SC Road, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, to create awareness about child related issues, child protection mechanisms, CHILDLINE 1098 and child rights on March 16, 2021. Ramaswamy, BOSCO Foster Care Programme, spoke about issues related to runway children, child labour, child trafficking, child beggary, CHILDLINE 1098, etc. He also explained about BOSCO’s activities and the role of BOSCO in the rescue and rehabilitation of children in need of care and protection. The team distributed pamphlets to the public and shopkeepers. Around hundred people benefitted from this programme.
