The BOSCO Migrant Help Desk team organized a recreational programme for the children of the K. Narayanapura migrant community on August 8, 2025. The event aimed to provide a day of positive engagement and recreational activities for the children, many of whom have limited access to organized play and fun. This initiative was designed to offer them a break from their daily routines, promote their well-being, and foster a sense of community.
The programme focused on free play and structured games, with informal discussions centred on teamwork and friendly competition. The children were encouraged to share their ideas for future activities, such as drawing competitions and group dances. Inspired by the team games, some children even decided to organize similar activities within their community.
Parents and community members provided positive feedback, emphasizing the need for more frequent recreational events for the children. A total of thirty children participated in the day’s activities.
