BOSOC Bengaluru in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bengaluru Urban facilitated the Aadhar enrollment process for children residing in the Government Boys Home, ensuring their access to identity documentation and government schemes on July 24, 2025. The camp aimed to create awareness on the importance of Aadhar cards, to ensure all children in institutional care are enrolled for Aadhar and to streamline access to welfare schemes through proper identification. The inaugural programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Janaki, Superintendent of Boys Home. Ms. Nagaveni, DCPO Central In-Charge, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of having an Aadhar card for children and the benefits it provides. Ms. Sheela, Superintendent of Shishu Mandir, was also present during the event. The inaugural programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. V. Veerappa, PONIC. Seventy children enrolled for Aadhar registration.
