SDMC Meeting at Goripalya

Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme organized School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC) Meeting at GUHPS, Goripalya, Bengaluru, on August 1, 2019. Ms. Jabeen Taj, CRP, Padarayanapura Urdu Cluster, South-2 asked the SDMC members to encourage public to enroll children to the school. She also informed that 8th and 9th of every month from 6 pm to 10 pm Education department would be organizing Out of School Children (OOSC) Survey in collaboration with NGOs.
Mr. Aslam Khan, President, State SDMC Urdu Federation donated Shoes, Taqiyah (Hat) and Scarfs to all the students. Mr. Ramaswamy spoke about parental roles and responsibilities for the growth and development of their children and recommended regular monitoring of their children. Mr. Azeez, Member, SDMC explained the roles of the SDMC in school development and motivated parents and children to make good use of the facilities available in the school. Thirteen SDMC Members were present in the meeting. Fifty-five CRC members, parents, students and Teach for India volunteers participated in the programme.
