BOSCO Rainbow Home, Bengaluru organized a life skill programme on ‘Decision Making’ for girls residing at the centre on November 28, 2018. The resource persons were Mr. Jimmy, Director, Creating Future, Bengaluru and his staff Ms. Geetha and three volunteers.
The session began with an activity of walking on the square space in the patterned box through a right path to achieve the goal. The resource person made a distinction between two major qualities usually seen – binding and breaking. The people with binding qualities guide, support, accept and listen to each other in order to achieve the task where as people with breaking qualities create confusion, noise, etc. during the process of reaching their goals.
Through this session girls learnt about the importance of decision making and preparedness in the form of planning, organizing, directing, controlling and choosing the right path to achieve the goals within the time frame. Nineteen girls participated in the life skill session.
