Staff Induction Training

BOSCO Bengaluru organized an induction programme for the new staff at BOSCO Yuvodaya on February 9, 2025. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru, conducted sessions on Programmes and Services of BOSCO and Expectations from Staff. These sessions provided the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s vision, ongoing programmes, and various projects. The staff were also oriented on professional conduct, responsibilities, and the expectations BOSCO holds for its employees in fulfilling its mission.

The session on Child Protection Policy and Human Resource Policy was facilitated by Mr. Prashanth Murthy, HR Manager. He explained organizational policies, staff roles, ethical conduct, and procedures essential for ensuring a safe and child-friendly environment.

Mr. Shivamallu led a session on Child Laws, Child Rights, and Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Procedures. This session emphasized the importance of legal frameworks, child rights protection, and adherence to statutory procedures while working with children.

Fr. Jude Anand, Director of BOSCO Sumanahalli, conducted an engaging session on the Don Bosco Preventive System. Through group activities, discussions, activity-based learning, and video clips related to personality development, the staff were encouraged to reflect on their attitudes, responsibilities, and approach to their work with children and communities.

The induction programme concluded with the collection of feedback from the participants, followed by concluding remarks by Fr. Varghese Pallipuram. The programme successfully oriented the new staff members and equipped them with the foundational knowledge, values, and expectations necessary for their roles at BOSCO.
