Stakeholders Training Program

BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE organized half-day training in collaboration with Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU), BOSCO Bengaluru, for the RPF officials of ‘Project SAKSHAM’ of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station and Krishnarajapuram Railway Station at Programme Training Centre, KSR Railway Station, Bengaluru, on August 29, 2019. Basavaraju PN, Coordinator, BOSCO SPJU, introduced BOSCO and its activities to the participants. He further explained about JJ Act, JJ Board, Child Welfare Committee, Railway CHILDLINE, Child Helpline -1098, SJPU, their functions, criteria for adoption, missing children, child rescue procedures, CARA, HAMA Act, etc.
CS Chengappa, Inspector, RPF, City Railway Station, requested BOSCO to conduct more training programmes to RPF officials of ‘Project SAKSHAM’ in the coming days in batches. Mr. Thippanna, Sub Inspector, RPF, KR Puram Railway Station and Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Director, BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE, were present in the training. Thirty RPF officials attended the programme.
