The summer camps were organized for the children and youths of BOSCO Yuvakendra, Sumanahalli, Yuvaspandana, Nilaya, and Nivas at the respective centres and St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru and for the children attending the tuition classes in  Ambedkar School Nelamagala, Pillahalli tuition centre, Chikka Basti tuition centre,  Tugabhadra Colony tuition centre, MCTC quarters I and II during April 2025. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru, Mr. Surendra,  Teacher, Siddalingeshwara School and  Fr. Joseph Dandavathi, Director, BOSCO Yuvakendra, Mr. Basvaraj, PDO, Pillahalli Gram Panchayat and Ramaswamy, Area Leader, Pillahalli, Mr. Shivanna,  SDMC Member, GHPS Pillahalli, Mr. Jack, Comedy Actor, Kannada Industry and Area leader, Vinobhanagar and MR Mariswamy Chairman of KCPCR, MR Basavaraj, Member, Migrant Desk and FR Arogya Raj, Director, BOSCO Nivas were the chief guests for the summer camps.

The activities included sessions on goal setting, time management, discipline, understanding life helping them to discover their talents, life skill classes, indoor and outdoor sports, handicrafts, story-telling,  painting, sessions on food and nutrition, hygiene, motivational talks, child friendly games, dance, drawing sessions, and action songs. 

The activities helped the children to work in a team, learn discipline, leadership skills, team spirit, cooperation, and mental and physical strength, develop confidence, and identify hidden talents. The camps also helped in enhancing the talents of children and in making constructive use of the time during the summer vacation.  Six hundred and thirty-five children and youth of the centres and the children attending the tuition classes participated in the summer camps.
