Task Force Meeting Organized

Foster Care Project, BOSCO Bengaluru organized Task Force Meeting for Asha Workers, Anganwadi Teachers, PDO, Gram Panchayat Members, School HM, Teachers and Child Rights Club members at Bhanagahalli Grama Panchayat Office, Chennapatna Taluk, Ramanagara on August 5, 2019. The purpose of the meeting was to create awareness about Foster Care Programme, to identify children who are in need of care and protection and to identify potential foster parents. Mr. Shivamallu, Coordinator, BOSCO Foster Care Programme, spoke about the activities of BOSCO, CHILDLINE toll-free number 1098, foster care concept, its types, difference between Foster care and Adoption, eligibility criteria of children and parents, follow up of children and Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

Ravi, Coordinator, CREAM, Ramanagara welcomed the participants and Guru Lakshmi, Social Mobiliser, CREAM, Ramanagara proposed the vote of thanks. Thirty-seven Asha Workers, Anganwadi Teachers, PDO, Gram Panchayat Members, School HM, Teachers and Child Rights Club members participated in the meeting.
