Teachers Training Programmes

BOSCO CRISP Project conducted two training programmes on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) for the teachers of Chikkanahalli, Nelamangala and Hosahalli, Vijayanagar during January 2025 to enhance teachers’ knowledge and understanding of the CRC and its implications for education; to promote child-centered education and encourage teachers to adopt a child-rights-based approach in their teaching practices. Joseph Raj, Coordinator, Nagaraj and Anand,  Social Activists, BOSOC CRISP Project explained in detail about UNCRC and its principles, child’s right to education: Article 28 and 29 of the UNCRC, creating a child-friendly and inclusive learning environment and promoting child participation and involvement in decision-making processes, addressing child protection concerns, building partnerships with parents and communities and enhancing Teacher-Child relationships. PDOs, DDPIs and fifty-five teachers were part of the training.
