Training for Child Rights Club Members

 CREAM, BOSCO, Bengaluru organized three levels of training for the members of Child Rights Clubs (CRCs) at Sri Vinayaka Higher Primary School, Cubbonpet, St.Teresa’s GHS, Chamrajpet, GHS, Byatarayanapura and Sri Sharadha HPS, Byatarayanapura, during November 2019.
CREAM staff briefed about BOSCO, CREAM, about the activities and CHILDLINE. Children gained knowledge about UNCRC, Child Rights, Child related laws and Children in difficult situations. Children were motivated to call 1098, Child helpline number during difficult situations. Children expressed that these trainings helped them to become better individuals and empower them to fight for their rights. Children said that they had seen child laborers selling balloons, pens, etc., at traffic signals and junctions in Bengaluru. Hundred and twenty-four boys and five hundred and twenty-six girls attended the trainings.
