Training of Child Rights Club Members

 CREAM, BOSCO, Bengaluru organized three levels of training for the members of Child Rights Clubs (CRCs) at GKHPS, Karithimmanahalli and GKHPS, Anchepalya, at GKHPS, Hosahalli on, at GKHPS, Deepanjalinagar and at Janatha Vidyalaya and Janatha English School, Chamrajpet during November 2018.
CREAM staff briefed about BOSCO and its activities, CREAM and its activities and CHILDLINE. Children gained knowledge about UNCRC, Child, Child Rights, Child related laws and Children in difficult situations. Children were motivated to call 1098, Child helpline number during difficult situations. Children expressed that these trainings helped them become better individuals and empower them to fight for their rights. Children also expressed that they have been identifying child laborers selling balloons, pens, etc. at some important signals and junctions in Bengaluru. Three hundred and eighty-one boys and three hundred and thirty-three girls attended the trainings. Respective school HMs and teachers were present during the trainings.
