Parimala aka Pari, from Bengaluru, who acted in the 2016 award-winning docudrama, ‘Railway Children’, is an alumni of BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan. Pari had dropped out of school in class 1, as she was not interested in studies. Her parents are coolie workers, and soon Pari also started working as a domestic help.
Pari was later enrolled in class 5 in the Primary Model School in Chamarajpet. She is a naturally gifted actor, a talented dancer, and a good sportsperson. Her talent was showcased in the documentary created by BOSCO Bengaluru named ‘SHE’. In the documentary that portrays the plight of girl children who reach the streets of Bengaluru, Pari brought the character of ‘Jyothi’ to life. Pari’s dream is to act in movies and become a famous actress one day. She is currently staying with her mother.
