Consultation with Government Officials

CHILDLINE Bengaluru organized a consultation with CDPOs and ICDS officials at Stree Shakthi Bhavan, Madiwala, Bengaluru, on November 20, 2020. The programme marked the conclusion of CHILDLINE Se Dosti Week. Speaking at the programme, MN Karibasavana Gowda, ACP, South Division, Bengaluru said that the police department would provide the necessary assistance in rescuing the victims of child marriage. B. Usha, Deputy Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Mumtaz, DCPO Bengaluru, Anjali Ramanna, Chairperson, CWC, Bengaluru Urban, Lakshapathi, Director, APSA, Fr. Prasad SDB, Director, CHILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru, spoke on the occasion. The officials discussed about the various issues regarding the prevention of child marriages and about the effective rehabilitation of children. Around sixty officials participated in the programme.
