Training Program on First Aid

BOSCO Nilaya organized training programme on First Aid for the team members at the centre on November 25, 2020. Vinnarasi, Cluster Coordinator, Nilaya, facilitated the session. Defining First Aid, she said that it is an immediate treatment that is given to a person on an emergency basis.
She explained about minor illnesses and the general medicines for them. Clinical thermometer, tablets, ointments with their names were explained. Usage of cotton, bandage, and surgical scissors were shown and methods to use them were briefed. Fifteen staff and volunteers attended the training.
