The Foster Care Virtual Meeting was held on February 19, 2026, through Google Meet, with the participation of 35 members, including Directors, Coordinators, and Social Mobilizers.

The first session, led by Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director of BOSCO Bengaluru, included a recap of the previous meeting, highlighting key aspects such as monitoring visits of children, reporting formats, and strategies adopted for awareness creation. He then introduced and explained the checklist for Social Mobilizers, which included responsibilities related to conducting awareness programmes for stakeholders, office-related tasks, home visits, school visits, monitoring and documentation, legal compliance, and other assigned duties.

Mr. Shivamallu, Coordinator – Foster Care, presented the status of Foster Care Placements across Districts. He reported that a total of 24 foster care placements had been completed over a period of seven months, along with paper publications conducted in 16 districts to promote foster care awareness. The meeting concluded with a welcome address by Mr. Shivamallu, Coordinator – Foster Care, and a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Nandini N, Documentation Coordinator.
