Staff Sports Day at BOSCO

A Sports Day for BOSCO staff was organized at BOSCO Sumanahalli, Bengaluru, on February 21, 2026. The event brought together Directors and over 70 staff members, fostering team spirit, camaraderie, and joyful celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director of BOSCO Bengaluru, described the occasion as a special day for the BOSCO family. He noted that while several events had been organized for children during Don Bosco’s Month, the Staff Sports Day was also an integral part of the celebration, emphasizing that it was a family-oriented event. He highlighted that the day provided an opportunity for staff to come together, spend quality time with one another, and showcase their talents and skills beyond their professional roles.

The morning session featured a lively dance competition, along with cricket for male staff and blanket throwball for the female staff. The afternoon session included engaging party gamessuch as musical chairs and bomb in the city, volleyball for the male staff, and tug of war for both groups, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and friendly competition.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of prizes and the rolling cup, recognizing participation and sportsmanship. Fr. Jude Anand, Director of BOSCO Sumanahalli, welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks, marking a successful and memorable Sports Day for the BOSCO staff.
