BOSCO Foster Care organized a Parents and Children Meeting on September 20, 2025, at BOSCO Mane, Bengaluru, bringing together foster families for a day of reflection, sharing and joyful interaction.

Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru, encouraged the children to nurture healthy relationships with their foster parents, relatives and neighbours. He appreciated the foster parents for their commitment to caring for the children and providing them with a supportive family environment. Fr. KJ Joseph, Director, BOSCO Mane, reminded the participants that every child is a gift from God, deserving to be loved, cared for and nurtured.

Foster Care promotional videos were screened, followed by an address by Mr. Shivamallu, State Project Coordinator for Foster Care, who highlighted the importance of family in a child’s life. Foster parents and children also shared their experiences and reflections.

The post-lunch session featured a Dasara Camp with fun-filled games and a “Cooking Without Fire” competition coordinated by Ms. Nandini, AD Coordinator. Gifts were distributed to the participants at the close of the programme. A total of 42 parents and children participated in the meeting.
