STREET PRESENCE, Bosco’s style of reaching out

Street presence is the physical presence of Bosco Personnel on the streets with the intention of helping those children who are forced to be on the streets. Whenever a child lands on the street, the Bosco contact staff is there to meet the child at whatever situation, the child is. The child finds the contact staff as a friend in need on the street.  Through street presence, the child is motivated to come away from the street and it’s dangers. The presence of the contact staff on the street should be preventive as to prevent children from falling into any exploitative situations; protective as to protect children on the street from any exploitation; friendly so that the child can find a friend in the staff and educative so that the child can be motivated to take positive steps for its safety and growth.
