COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BOSCO, being a rights-based organization, it concentrates on the holistic development of slum communities to promote child care and protection. To this end BOSCO teams work closely with slum communities – especially women and children – on various issues such as health, shelter, food, education, child rights and women empowerment. Vocational training opportunities are offered to the vulnerable young in the communities at the training programs conducted in the BOSCO centres. Child Rights Clubs established in the communities empower the children to promote education and prevent child labor, child marriage and various other forms of child abuses.
