The Annual Evaluation of BOSCO Bengaluru was held at St. Xavier’s School, Shivajinagar, on June 16 and 17, 2026. During the inaugural session, Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director of BOSCO Bengaluru, said, “Annual Evaluation is a celebration, reflection, and participation. Let us celebrate it as a family by reviewing our work during the year, reflecting on our achievements and failures, and moving forward with a focused approach.” He encouraged everyone to participate actively and contribute to the organisation’s growth.
Fr. Arogya Raj, Manager of St. Xavier’s School, quoting a Greek philosopher, said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” He emphasised the importance of reflecting on the past, understanding the present, and planning for the future as essential elements in an organisation’s development. He described evaluation as a mirror that helps assess and improve oneself.
Fr. Varghese Pallipuram presented the major achievements of BOSCO during the period from June 2025 to May 2026 and welcomed the new staff members to the BOSCO family. The activities of the organisation’s twenty-eight departments were evaluated based on the reports presented. The participants also planned the major events, campaigns, and activities for the coming year and discussed the way forward for the organisation.
On the occasion, BOSCO at a Glance (June 2025–May 2026)and the May 2026 edition of the monthly newsletter, E-Street Voice, were released. Research studies titled Needs Assessment for the Establishment of a Care Leavers Desk and Status of the Impact Study – Past Pupils were also presented. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment from the management and staff to strengthen BOSCO’s mission of caring for and protecting children and young people in need.
