COMMUNITY AWARENESS PROGRAMME

Child Safety Network (CSN), BOSCO, Bengaluru, organized a community awareness programme at Beggers Colony, Malagala, Bengaluru, on October, 26, 2018. Devaraj, Rescue Coordinator, CSN, BOSCO, Bengaluru, spoke about child rights, child related issues such as child labour, child marriage, child abuse, children dropping out of school, etc. He also spoke about the importance of education and requested the parents to encourage children to go to the school. The community people were happy to be a part of the awareness and requested the team to conduct awareness sessions to the community regularly during the weekends. Twenty- three people including men, women and children participated in the programme.
