On the occasion of World Health Day, Asha Kirana Kala Trust, in collaboration with the National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), Bengaluru District Branch, conducted a free health camp at BOSCO Sumanahalli on April 7, 2026. The camp led by Dr. Swati Kumbhar included a general health examination, individual consultation and diagnosis, distribution of Ayurvedic medicines and an awareness session on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. A total of 35 beneficiaries attended the camp.
The Health Care Department of BOSCO conducted a general health check-up at BOSCO Yuvaspandana on April 12, 2026, in collaboration with Inara Group for 67 Study Centres’ children.
On April 12, 2026, an eye check-up camp was also conducted at Yuvaspandana by the Eye Foundation team. 47 people from the community were benefitted from the camp. Two of them were referred to the hospital for cataract surgery.
A health camp was organized at BOSCO Yuvakendra by the Health Care Department of BOSCO on April 16, 2026. The camp was conducted by the TCM Hospital team. Blood Sugar, oxygen level, weight and BP parameters were checked. Ten people were detected with high blood sugar. 2 people were referred to the hospital for further treatment. 82 people, including the trainees, study centre children, staff and volunteers, availed the services of the camp.
BOSCO Migrant Help Desk team organized a health camp in association with the Health Care Department at Banjara Layout on April 19, 2026. Dr. Abraham conducted the camp. One person was referred to Jayadeva Hospital for further treatment. A few children had skin infections and dental problems. Most of the women were anaemic. A total of 84 adults and children benefited from the camp.
