PUBLIC SPEAKING AND ESSAY WRITING

Tuition children of Mackan Compound and Nehrupuram tuition centres, Shivajinagar, Bengaluru were provided with an opportunity to portray their oration and writing skills through the public speaking and essay writing session at the centre on November 20, 2018i.
The topics were, ‘child labour’, for public speaking and ‘child marriage’ for essay writing. They were also given a choice to speak or write in English or Urdu. Instructions were given to the children about rules and regulations. Children were appreciated for the attempt made and were given a demonstration as to how to speak and write an essay. Thirty-five children participated in the competition.
