BOSCO Nilaya, Nivas, CRISP, CSN, Yuvakendra, and Magadi Projects organized the Shaale Kade Nanna Nade campaign in their areas of intervention during May last week and June first week of 2026. The campaign included awareness rallies, door-to-door awareness, and awareness in the communities by children. Fr. Joseph Dandavathi SDB, Director BOSCO Yuvakendra, exhorted the children to be regular to school, be disciplined and lead a good life.  Mr. Raghu Kumar, the Police Personnel of KP Agrahara, highlighting the importance of education, informed the children to call up the toll-free number-112 whenever they face problems.

Rallies and Street Play were taken out in Nagammanagar, Vinoba Nagar, Anandapuram, Sagayapuram, Mackan Road, VKO GOVT School, Bangarappa Gudde School, Krishnappa Layout and Lu Lu Mall. The programme received a positive response from parents, teachers, and community members, who appreciated its message. Many said the children’s slogans were powerful and inspired them to prioritize education. Local leaders also pledged support for future awareness activities. The area police personnel, children, HMs and teachers of the Government schools and St. Xavier School, Anganwadi Workers, tuition teachers and staff of BOSCO were involved in the awareness campaigns.  More than one thousand people who were reached out to during the campaign pledged their support in enrolling and re-enrolling the children in their communities into schools.
