Teachers’ Day Celebration at BOSCO

BOSCO Centres celebrated Teachers’ Day from September 5 to 8, 2026, with great enthusiasm and gratitude. The celebration brought together all the children and staff members at the BOSCO centres to honour the dedication and contribution of teachers in shaping young lives.

The programme began with prayer and a warm welcome, followed by lively compering by the children. Directors spoke about the significant role of teachers in guiding and shaping children’s lives and reminded the children that the home is their first school. They reflected on the mother as a child’s first teacher and encouraged everyone to respect and value teachers for their guidance, care and support.

The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony and cultural performances by the children. As a gesture of appreciation, gifts were presented to the staff members. The active participation of the children fostered confidence, teamwork and a spirit of gratitude.
