OPEN SHELTER

BOSCO Yuvakendra is a registered an open shelter under the JJ ACT. It is supported under the open shelter scheme of the ICPS department of the Government of Karnataka. Open shelter provides short stay support for homeless children and children away from their homes. Many facilities are provided to them such as: food, counseling, medicine, shelter, home placement, education and skill training placement etc.  Unaccompanied children found on the streets and at other vulnerable situations are given support to build their lives back to their families or to other safer situations.
