BOSCO In Action

ROOM PLACEMENT

The room placement approach of BOSCO starts after the older boys and girls after their training and education are job placed. Youngsters around the age of 20, who are either employed outside, or doing their college studies are given an opportunity to live in a room or house taking care of their expenses and making the proper decisions for their group living. A change from institutionalized care to room placement, helps the youth transition to a life of responsibility. This gradual transition into independent living is an importantstrategy for social reintegration of the homeless children who live under the care of Bosco.
