SKILL TRAINING

For the children who come off the streets, who are between the ages of 15 and 18 years and if they do not fit into the daily routine of school/college, BOSCO has a vocational training centre, located in Sumanahalli, Bengaluru that provides training in various trades like welding, carpentry, electrical works, bakery trade, and two wheeler mechanism.  BOSCO Yuvakendra provides skill training in screen printing and Vatsalya Bhavan provides tailoring and beautician courses. BOSCO Mane and BOSCO Sumanahallicentres also conduct computer training in Basic and Tally for the underprivileged youth from the surrounding slum communities. Total number of youth given skill training: 2018-19 is 479, 2019-20 is 330
