SCHOOL ENROLMENT
BOSCO’s Campaigns like Shaale Kade Nanna Nade, Anti Child Labour Day, etc. help in identifying and motivating out-of-school children in the slums to enroll and re-enroll them in to school education. After parental and personal counseling for dropout children, they are re-enrolled in to the schools. BOSCO currently works with 25 ICDS (Anganwadi) centres and 40 schools of South and West Bengaluru. Once enrolled, they are followed up to ensure that they are regular to schools and progressing well. Children enrolled and re-enrolled in Schools: 2017-18 – is 380 children and in 2018-19 – is 458 children.
